Guides

Sonic Boom is a high-quality project that is going to take place on a very large scale. Therefore, everyone needs to read and follow the guides to ensure quality and workability.

Please read everything in all articles, even if you think you know what is going to be said already. There may be errors you need to correct or specifications that are required for Sonic Boom that other sound banks may not require.

I am not an expert on all the sections, so you will have to contact me so that I can change things when needed.

Even if you are not, for instance, a sound recorder, you must read all the sections. As a team, you need to work together and understand what each other person is doing! I can assure you now that you will benefit greatly by reading each of the sections below:

Creating Sonic Boom

  1. Before you begin - A quick summary of the important things you should note before you start anything. Everyone must read this.
  2. Preparing to record - The environment, the instruments and the placement.
  3. Recording the samples - How the samples will be recorded and stored.
  4. Editing the samples - Cleaning up the recorded sounds.
  5. Creating the soundfont - Putting it all together
